A firm that has practised for seven decades has been led by relatively few people. Six, in fact, across two eras of the practice — and the second era begins with the name the Firm carries today.
Z. O. Ososanya & Co., 1956–1998
Dr Z. O. Ososanya founded the practice in 1956 and served as its first Senior Partner until 1978. Chief S. O. Oguntimehin followed him, leading the Firm until around 1996. Mr T. A. Oyelami and Mr A. Olatawura then served as Joint Senior Partners through to the restructuring.
HLB Z. O. Ososanya & Co., 1998 to date
In August 1998 the Firm restructured and rebranded under its current corporate identity. Mr A. Olatawura and Mr M. B. Shosanya led as Joint Senior Partners from that point; Mr O. A. Ososanya served as Managing Partner until his retirement in September 2023, and continues to support the Firm as a Consultant. Mr Babatunde J. Kolawole was appointed Managing Partner in October 2023.
Gloria House
The Firm’s current head office, known as Gloria House, is located at Plots 27 and 28, Alaafin Avenue, Oluyole Industrial Estate, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
